There will be an opportunity to practice teach, experience the pose modifications, and explore creative use of props. Judy will lead a 60 min class at the start of the training. Ten CEUs for Yoga Alliance will be awarded.

Regardless of gender, we all live in a world where our bodies are often treated as objects – by ourselves and by the people around us. In this workshop, we will explore how our bodies transcend objectification and are truly connected to our spiritual lives. Understanding our experiences in our bodies as a window into spirituality, we will come to a greater understanding of our body image. We will discuss many topics pertaining to the body including: birth, illness, fertility, aging, sexuality, body acceptance, and how societal expectations relate to and influence the way we view our physical form. After this workshop, participants will be able to walk away with a more loving approach toward and greater respect for the gift of their body.
Kids Yoga (ages 5-11) with Lisa McBride
Our well rounded program offers children the opportunity to learn important life skills for dealing with daily challenges.

Lisa weaves yoga principles such as generosity, truthfulness, peace, self care, self control, self discipline and contentment... just to name a few, into each of her classes ~ all of which are great for any age.
