Applied Anatomy Of Yoga: A Monthly Yoga Class Series

This class series is designed to provide students with a deeper
understanding of the anatomy of the body and how it functions through our Asana practice.
Each month, we will explore different fundamental movements utilizing
specific techniques to support and sustain the architecture of the whole body.
May 5 - HIPS:
We’ll talk about the anatomy of the pelvis and the felt sense of movement, applied anatomy - meaning in daily life - can we move well? Can we carry out whatever task at hand efficiently? Stand comfortably? Sit with ease? Much of our daily movements aren’t supported by static postures or shapes - sometimes not even stretching or strengthening. Rather gaining stability and noticing our patterns of movement, and what we do with what we notice.
June 2 - SHOULDERS
July 7 - CORE
