Grief Yoga and Meditation

This practice is for those grieving the loss of a loved one through death. Grief Yoga combines many forms of yoga, movement, and breath techniques to help students process grief and use it as a tool for transformation. This practice is not as much about physical flexibility as it is about emotional liberation.
Grief Yoga is for people of all ages, body types, and physical conditions as well as those who have never tried yoga.
The practice will begin with approximately sixty minutes of yoga followed by thirty minutes of a guided meditation. Through a scanning and relaxing of the body, we journey into a sacred space - a safe space to connect to loving memories that live within you. A meditation that guides you to know that you are never alone and are deeply loved.
Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. You may bring your own mat or select one to use from the studio. All other props are also provided.
