We invite you to take time out of your busy life to promote a more settled mind, pay attention to your experience with kindness and compassion and encourage a healing and empowering awareness of your physical, emotional, and spiritual self.

This introductory workshop will include the guided mindfulness practices of gentle yoga asana, seated meditation, and walking meditation.

Mindfulness is the art of practicing presence in our lives in a non judgmental way. From this place of greater awareness we develop the ability to respond in skillful ways to the demands of life with less frustration and reactivity.

This workshop is eligible for continuing education credits with Yoga Alliance

Kathleen has been teaching yoga since 2005 and developed an interest in the mind-body connection at an early age. She facilitates the Yoga Teacher Training program and leads workshops at The Center Health.Yoga.Arts. Kathleen completed her MBSR practicum and continues supervision with Diane Reibel, at Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine and has completed professional training under Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli. She is committed to mindful living and finds great joy sharing her learning with others.
