Reset, Relax, Restore: Restorative Yoga Workshop with Lynné Filion

Treat yourself (and a friend!) to a Restorative Yoga Workshop with Center yoga instructor, Lynné Filion. Restorative Yoga is a simple, effective antidote to stress, tension, and anxiety.
With life’s everyday demands, pressing the pause button can be difficult. It can be challenging to carve out time for self care, and takes practice to come to stillness. Giving oneself permission to rest, reset, and restore is crucial to health and wellbeing.
In this workshop, we will move through a series of gentle, completely supported asanas (poses) with the use of lots of props to encourage the body to truly let go. When the body is at rest and the mind becomes calm, students can fully experience the peace within.
With dimmed lighting, candles, soothing music, and calming essential oils diffused, we will create the perfect environment in which to soften the body and unwind. We will close with a Yoga Nidra to complete our restorative practice. All are welcome, adjustments can be made to make this workshop accessible to any participant. Have an especially soft blanket or favorite pillow? Feel free to bring your own! Comfy clothing that you can layer and a pair of socks encouraged.
