Rest, Relax, Restore: Restorative Yoga Workshop with Lynné Filion
With life’s everyday demands, pressing the pause button can be difficult. It can be challenging to carve out time for self care, and takes practice to come to stillness. Giving oneself permission to rest, reset, and restore is crucial to health and wellbeing.
In this workshop, we will move through a series of gentle, completely supported asanas (poses) with the use of lots of props to encourage the body to truly let go. When the body is at rest and the mind becomes calm, students can fully experience the peace within.

Mindfulness is the art of practicing presence in our lives in a non judgmental way.
From this place of greater awareness we develop the ability to respond in skillful ways
to the demands of life with less frustration and reactivity.
This 8 Week Course includes guided mindfulness practices, yoga asana, group dialogue,
opportunities for self inquiry, a CD and materials to support the practice, a one day silent
retreat on the 6th week and various ways to explore how mindfulness can enhance
our lives overall.

Our well rounded program offers children the opportunity to learn important life skills for dealing with daily challenges. Lisa weaves yoga principles such as generosity, truthfulness, peace, self care, self control, self discipline and contentment... just to name a few, into each of her classes ~ all of which are great for any age.
